Luxul Announces the Release of New 5.x GHz Broadband Antenna

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (January 03, 2007) – Luxul Corporation, a leading manufacturer of WiFi products and solutions, today announced the release of one of the smallest 5.8 GHz Broadband Antennas on the market. The antenna has a frequency range of 5.1 to 5.9 GHz and is available in both 15 and 18 dBi models. This antenna is based on Luxul’s Circular Polarized technology, and provides the highest quality antenna for the money. This 5.1 – 5.9 GHz Antenna is an ideal Solution for a wide range of Wi-Fi applications. It is a reliable, cost effective alternative to higher priced Yagi, or Sector Antennas. Perfect for medium range Point to Point (PtP) links. It has the benefits of Circular Polarization, including superior propagation and penetration, with less susceptibility to outside interference and multi-pathed signals. In CPE Applications you get a powerful antenna solution with easy alignment.

“Luxul’s flat panel antenna technology has been very popular with our customers,  we are happy to introduce the new 5 GHz models”, said Doug Isom, Product Manager for Luxul’s Antenna Products, “we believe the size and range of these new antennas will provide an unmatched 5GHz solution for WISP’s and other organizations requiring a Point to Point solution.”

The new 5.xGHz flat panel Broadband antenna has dimensions of 4” by 4”, providing a beam width of 70 degrees and a gain of 15dBi. The 18 dBi model uses Luxul’s SureFire design delivering a beam width of 40 degrees with dimensions of 7.1” by 7.1”.  These new Luxul antennas provide an ideal solution for customers requiring a low profile, high power solution.
